Selvage Edge Skirt

Last week I saw a pillow made from the selvage edges of fabric. It was so cool! I went home and was going to make one. I was in the process of making a child's skirt from a pair of recycled blue jeans. So, instead of a pillow I made a skirt. Only one problem.... which granddaughter gets it!

Oh, I definitely agree with Yvonne - you need to make one for each g-daughter! Can I be your g-daughter? Heehee..... It's simply amazing!

WOW Paulette, this is so cool!
One ?? don't this make for a lot of seam allowances on the back of this skirt? Trying to picture this in my mind for the comfort sake. I have a 5 year old grand daughter that has dozens of pairs of blue jeans that aren't much good as the knees are gone but I could recycle them into some pretty adorable skirts instead of chucking them to the landfill.

Amazing skirt. So very clever and cute. Wish my nieces were still young enough to wear something like this! You rock!
